Puppy Kindergarten 4 week sessions Ongoing for puppies 8-16 weeks old Monday, 6:45 PM
It is important to socialize your puppy between 6 weeks and five months of age. This means exposure to as many kinds of adults, children, and the environment that you want your puppy to be comfortable with as an adult dog. Puppy classes also helps your puppy learn bite inhibition (how to control the force of his bite). Puppies more readily learn bite inhibition by off leash play with other puppies. Puppy playtime is a great way for pups to practice their dog-to-dog social skills too. We will also work on some basic manners and cues (such as sit, down, no jump, give, come, etc.) as well as have lots of information to help you have a wonderful experience with your new puppy.

Advanced Beginner 8 week sessions Tuesday, 8:00 PM
This class will continue where Beginner Level I (DogDays) or Basic Manners (Pet Junction) left off. Using a clicker, we will enhance the skills your dog has learned and teach new ones. The goal will be to have good on-leash control and more control in public places. If the students in the class prefer, we can begin work on the skills needed to become certified by the American Kennel Club (AKC) with a Canine Good Citizen certificate (CGC).
